Hello guys,

I would like you to take a look at one of my recent games, which ended in a draw. I tried to give some information about it, but it is the first time I've done this, so I don't know how good or useful it is. The game ended in a draw, but I feel I should have been able to win it, I'm just not sure how. Your input will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Alex

Thank you very much for your opinions. You seem to be both right at first glance... unfortunately, my mind was not so clear during the game...

TwoMove

I think 15f4 would have won too, i.e. 15f4 Ng4 16RxRch Kd7 17h3. Think basically overestimated is mate in one threat, he is only attacking with two peices, and generally need three.

your fifth move got you into this. you shouldn't have attacked a spot that was so well defended that you would have to back off with your bishop, allowing his pawns to advance. And once he castled, you should have advanced queen side pawns to expose him and take advantage of this exposure.
