Why did you not take the en prise bishop? Sorry that's all I can give right now (kind of busy).
Please help analyze my game!
And he left the knight en-prise for several moves. I will give to you straight these are SIMPLE captures, You need to fix that problem before a reasonable analysis of your play can be done.
First, Im going to echo the above comments. Learn to see hanging pieces, both yours and your opponents. It will win you a lot more games than you think. After that, more complicated tactics. At least do your 3 Tactics trainer problems a day, and there are other websites that will give you more problems for free, like Chess Tempo. Tactics are huge.
Im going to try to comment on some of the moves you left comments on, especially the more strategic/positional ones. This is pretty much just so you know--this game and nearly every one until you're better than I am right now will be decided by tactics. But positional play can still be useful, so I'll throw in what advice I can give. I would love it if a more experienced player would critique my analysis, both for my edification and yours.
I agree with hxg6 for king safety and general pawn structure reasons.
I really like your play during the Rac8-c4-e5-d5-Nc5-Rad1-Nd3 sequence.
Im not sure on this one, but I think I like 23...Rxc4 more than bxc4. I'd really like a better player than myself to comment here, but I think when you are up in material like this you want maximum piece activity--you want to activate both rooks, possibly doubling them on the c-file, much more than you want to open the b file against the b2 pawn. the rook capture moves more pieces towards the center of the board and helps attack the d5 pawn, and once that falls, his whole position collapses. Of course its not very significant, especially with the material gap in question, but you commented on it so I thought I'd put in my two cents.
I like f5
30...Rb8 is better than Ra8 I think, because you want to promote the c-pawn which will be easier than the a pawn, and after Rxd5 the king cant stop the c pawn either. Also if you decide to just checkmate with two rooks instead of promoting a queen Rb8 puts the rook on an open file
Hello everyrone! Today I finally achieved a win against computer-medium! yay
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong, what I'm doing fine and how could I improve, thanks!
