20. g6 would have been better (harasses the queen and stops the potential mate at h7). Followed by Bf6-e5 maintains a good post for the kB.
Overall, your 2 bishops (considered an advantage) never got into the game
In the opening, as you have opted for the English attack, 6.Be2?! was an inaccuracy maybe even a mistake 6.Bc4 was the correct move. Apart from that your opening is fine, I'll look it all over later in more detail. Hope this helps a bit :)
I thought that if i play g6, white will play Qh6. Then i thought white may bring white rook to h file to commence an attack . Also after bringing pawn to h6. White bishop can be sacrificed at g6 to obtain a positional advantage. I think i should've delayed knights exchange with bishop
With due respect i don't think Qe2 a pointless move, i think it was the one that forced me to exchange the knight with bishop. Because i saw that if i capture pawn of f4 by e5 pawn then bishop will take my pawn to put pressure on d6 pawn. Even if i let a pawn exchange initiated by white to happen on e5, still it put pressure on d6.i thought since white was having a double pawn, i can have an opportunity to queen my a pawn, I may be wrong in my thinking, so if u correct me i would be really glad.
