I reached this position in a game but as i do not write down the moves.. So i took a snap of the board at this position.. So do not analyze the move sequence here as i tried haphazard moves to reach in this position again just to post it... Here white has to continue and i play as black.. So please help me how the game can continue.. What are different variations possible at this position.. I have tried Nh4 as white and Bh7 as black for the next move.. But don't know what next.. So please help me how to continue in this particular situation..

If you click on the icon that looks like a board in the posting window you can either set up a diagram or a game that way.

If it's a game in progress, you're not supposed to post it.

It is a game i played 4 days ago face to face not online.. But i stuck up here for several minutes, so asking your help how to continue?? I assure you it's not a game in progress. Just posted the scenario of the game at a particular time.. Thank you..

The center looks hopelessly locked up, I don't see any worthwhile tactical shots, and it's too dangerous to expand your kingside, if there's even a way to do that, so that leaves just about one obvious option: expand on the queenside to open up the game (assuming you're playing for a win instead of a draw).

I believe I would play 13. c4. If you can open the c-file then you can harass the Black queen with Rc1, with hopes of seizing that file by doubling your rooks on it. Black's LS bishop is pretty much locked out of play, so you *might* be able to safely swing your LS bishop into play via Bf1, Bb5 to get a coordinated bishop pair on a part of the board that is opening up while Black would be essentially a piece (bishop) down in the ensuing queenside battle.

P.S.--In positions like this where a player has a pawn at QB3 (in this case Black has a pawn at c6), a Minority Attack involving the key move P-QN4 (b4) aiming at P-QN5 (b5) to disrupt that pawn formation and/or open the c-file is a good consideration, but 13. c4 looks far more natural to me here.
