I SAID GREAT OR BRILLANT MOVES

figure_fad

oh so he said it was brillant but it was a great move or neather?

OlejanXL

bro, can you tell me how you shared your game on your blog

figure_fad

one way to show games is to screechshot them and then post

Unfortunately, I'm not aware that ANYBODY accepts your implied definition of "brilliant". You imply that a game cannot be considered "brilliant" unless each move (past the immediate opening) is Stockfish's top choice.

That would mean that people like Paul Morphy, Mikhail Tal, Bobby Fischer and Garry Kasparov have never played a "brilliant" game, since none of their complicated, tactical victories gets 100% approval from Stockfish.

... and what happens when a new improved version of Stockfish gets released, and games are re-evaluated based on the new engine's calculation? Some moves formerly considered "best" will no longer qualify as top choices, and "brilliant" games will no longer be "brilliant"?

I doubt that many people (and certainly, not many chess players) will accept your definition.
