Proudest?  Maybe this, my first win against a 2000+ player, especially since I'd misplayed it early.

But most satisfying?  I don't think I've ever paralyzed an opponent as much as in this one:

Feel free to criticize happy.png (I played white)

GenocidalPawn

I definitely could have played this better but I really love the way it ended. My move 32. ...Nb4 was actually an inaccuracy but it worked out because my opponent took my queen pretty fast without asking questions.

holub019 (1519) V.S. GenocidalPawn (1497)  0-1

peAchcc: "feel free to criticize". Yeah I think you played a pretty good game, the only thing I would point out is that I would have done Nd4+ instead of Rac1, but still, great game!

Here's my game:

Also, do feel free to criticize, I could probably use it from someone/something other than Chess.com's engine.

I only started properly in January so I don't have much of an archive to go into here...but I'm very proud of this most recent win.

It's round two of a tournament game and my opponent gave me a solid kicking in round one so they're a decent player and gave me a really interesting couple of games!

What I'm most proud of here though is that I formulated a clear strategy (attack F1-H3 & compromise their defenses), maintained a decent tempo, turned down what felt like natural moves for longer plans, abandoned rooks and calculated an end game strategy. As somebody quite new to playing the game (properly) it just felt like this was a game where I'd made some real progress in my approach and was starting to apply lessons and knowledge into my game.

As with others' comments - feel free to criticise or let me know if I missed anything! I'd love to know if there's anything else I could learn from this...

Drew Gainer, liking your Queen's London gambit! Very nice.

Even though I didn't make the best moves, I was proud bc I somehow won and if I didn't, a good chunk of my rating would fall off. (lose -16, draw -5, win +2)
