Vojislav Vs. eglun

@ eglun - Might want to re-visit your method of handling the grand prix attack from white.  You left all the strong players behind at move 4!  That's pretty early to be out of book.

thanks for the analysis! yeah my opening was terrible i usually dont play sicilian but he crush me before making a gambit in my french which is what i play but its obviusly he know a lot of theory more than me so my idea was to be out of book son as possible (like magnus :B) triying to play something like the hedgehog but it goes wrong somewhere xD, if im good in something in chess is finding good moves for my oponnent when he is better and attacking me hehe so like a miracle i have survive the opening, and yes you are right i was without a plan at move 28, maybe for my nerveus feeling that i was with a superior position and thinking that i goes to make a blunder soon, i have played until the move 28 he offer me draw 2 times and i accepted not sure if i could win it, i think all my blunder were psychological

This is a game i played today, I have more and I will post them in the future, maybe. It was a 15|10 time control but it ended up with me having about 12 minutes on the clock.
My opponent was around 1600 and I am (hopefully) around 1500.
I would appreciate some feedback even though it is a short game.
Have a nice day!:)

@ RRM888 - Looks like you did well in your second tournament.  I trust this will be your last submission :D.  Congrats on reaching 2000.

Thanks for the analysis. I've never really considered g6-f5 plans but the idea is certainly interesting and I have experience with a similar plan in the King's Indian Defense. Also, my rating has since dropped to the mid-1900s, so I'll still have plenty of games for you to analyze. :)

Laenina - Thanks for submitting the game!  Be careful against this anti-sicillian.  It can be quite tricky not to lose something in the first 5 moves.

I was going through some other people's games, and on move 10 (it is a mistake), black can hold on to the rook (at the cost of some tempo).
11. e5 Nd5 12. c4 Nc7.

@chesswiz: beautiful defense. But it has a flaw: you need the knight to save your rook. That is why white will first capture the knight and only then proceed with e5:

11 Bxf6 Bxf6 12. e5 Rb8 13. exf6 gxf6, which is winning for white.

Thx Chesswiz.  You are quite right.  It doesn't "win" the rook in any line that I can see either.  If black plays well he comes out down a pawn or with a displaced king (2 unpleasant choices).

I guess you have to realize that I'm only human and I rush analysis sometimes!

You are correct and so is chesswiz. Where can I join the club of too hasty analysis publishers? :-)

@ Ritwik - The long awaited analysis.  Thanks for submitting the game!

heister

@ Ritwik - Btw.  After my recommendation of 19 Qxf3,  on 19. ...Rxg5, Rxe7 seems to do well.  Sorry I didn't include this variation.

20. Rxe7 Kxe7 leads to a king hunt that ends in mate after Qf7+

20. Rxe7 Qxe7 drops the a8 rook with tempo and the attack continues.

#368: Owen Defense.

@ Vicariousf - 15 10 is a little under the 30 minute requirement for game submission.  I'd be happy to look at any longer games/cor. games you've played.

heister

@ Glorfindel_1 - I'll analyze your game if you let me know who your opponent is and their rating + the time control of the game.  Thx.

Can someone please analyse this one? :)

heister

@ bilgivasudev - Your opponent had a strange opening idea with Ne7, and you played well.  Thanks for submitting the game!

heister

@kebabpizza - Posting guidelines are at least 30 minutes per side for games.  I'd be spending more time analyzing this one than you spent playing it.  Sry.
