Does chess.com not have pre calculated tablebases? im not talking about the one that appears when there is no more than 7 pieces left on the board. I mean a pre calculated table bases from the starting position. Or from any of the openings?

Why waste time and processing power on running analysis calculations again and again and again for each user? Why is this not just done once and for all to have a complete tablebase that we can load into the analysis game like 50 moves deep? (or however deep is realistic, 10, 25 moves deep? im not a math genius wink.png )

There's no such thing as a tablebase from the starting position. If you mean some kind of evaluation table, generated by an engine, no, that's not something that's available and won't be.

Thanks for answering me. But Why not though, why won't there be? Sounds like a decision of policy, what's that about? I can go to other websites to actually find such evaluation tables, then manually input them into chess.com's analysis feature. I actually really like the chess.com UI and the evaluation system where I can go back and forth between each position very easily and with great overview. But why do I need to go through that extremely tedious hassle of manually inputting all of this when chess.com already has the capability to so, but its just not a feature offered to the user?

See this screenshot below, im building the best evaluated responses for white here. It's a tedious slow process sadly. I just don't understand why on earth not just not let me choose to let it do this automatically without me having to sit and click and wait, and each time their cloud computers (or my pc) uses processing power to calculate the evaluation, which it has probably already done millions of times for other users that run analysis form the same position. Would actually justify the diamond sub price for me.

I was looking at professional full feature chess programs to buy for me pc, and they actually do seem to offer what I am asking here. So now Im thinking should I just go spend hundreds of dollars with another company instead, seems silly when what I really want is to buy from chess.com.

One, opening evaluations are fairly meaningless, with different enhines and versions of engines giving different results.

You also can't use something like that in anything other than study. Using it in live or daily games would be considered cheating

having an engine give an evaluation for an opening is meaningless as martin mentioned above that engines change over time. additionally, engines really shouldnt be used for evalauting openings, it is much better to look at it yourself and look for the key imbalances in the position which will provide practical chances rather than have a computer evaluate
