Queen's Gambit, Getting Greedy While Winning = Losing

I wanted to show everyone this game, I thought I was doing so well, and I got greedy and arrogant, and then I thought I could make a fairly quick checkmate. Why didn't I think twice? Well I was running out of time too.

mad game enjoyed watching it.

Bad attack. You discounted your own king's safety in light of your ongoing assault. I understand that you were under time pressure and in a king chase, BUT as a general "lookout" you should try to go g3, protecting your rook and giving your king an escape square, all you did incorrectly was discount your kings safety. It was not a  won game, it was a lost agme due to the imminent threat of the queen and rook bearing down on your king.

You're not in trouble on turn 28. Yes you're second Rook isn't doing anything, but it can once you neutralize Black's threat by trading pieces or hiding your King.

Something like an immediate 28. Qc1 puts the breaks on Black's offensive. You have Queen + Rook + King defending you, and he has Queen + Rook attacking your King. You have more guys, so it's tough to break through. It'll take several moves, but you'll eventually be able to wiggle your way out.

Had you played 29. Qc1, you could have held on, and probably won.

That's the only crushing mistake, overall.

Maybe 28. Rc1 is better, if he tries Qa5+ like he did a few turns before you can block with Qc3 and you have a battery shielding your King. Now you can activate your Rook or solidify your position more by bringing the Knight back on defense temporarily.

My two biggest mistakes were

"12. Nxb5"

Not taking the king to Kg3

AND the final fatality mistake with the queen on 29.
