Rate My Play: First Tournament! (Games 4 and 5)

This is Day 2 of the Eastern Chess Congress U1900 section.

Just like yesterday I was late too my first game, which seems to affect my time for some odd reason.

First game I was black against an elderly gentleman.

Time control was G/100  D/10 SD/30

The worst part about this game was that I said checkmate as I played Qc3. Can you top that OTB flop?!

Second game of the day and final of the tournament... I had a score of 2/4 thus far and was not happy with the results. I atleast wanted to win the 'majority' of my games, so I was really hoping for a win this game and tried to play reserved

For a first tournament experience, I enjoyed it. The venue was good, TD were decent, and the overall days were fun. Definitely going to check out more tournaments in the future. Try to rate my play and let me know my estimated rating!
