The first is that it is much easier to get people to look at your game if you actually post it...instead of giving them a link to follow.
You helped your opponent by exchanging your bishop for his knight. You had the knight pinned to his queen. Taking the knight relieved that pressure. It also left you vulnerable on the light squares, which would come back to bite pretty soon.
Why not castle kingside? Trying to castle queen side left you vulnerable to 10 Bf5 (along with the fact that your white bishop was gone.)
The back rank mate is something you always have to watch for. Making luft is a good way to avoid it
