Below is a game in the 1st round of the 1400-1600 8th Chess.com Tournement.  My opponent makes a rook sacrafice and ends up winning.

you could easily win a piece if you move 21 Rxa6 then if Nxb, 22 Qa7 ck then Kf1    23 Qxb then ke2 24 Qxn and so on you could have shorten the game by having superiority in position and pieces.

3...Qf6?-This move seems very anti-positional and it is not an ideal square for the queen.  In addition, where is the king's knight going to go.  3...Nf6! is better

A lot of problems seem to have stemmed from the queen move.  It does not do anything on f6!  Without the knight on f6, the light squared bishop was allowed in your camp,  leaving you in a fierce positional bind.  D5 is a serious hole.

11...f6?!-This move looks to be another positional error.  Now your king's knight has a bleak future, and your queen is interfering with its coordination.  Take a look at this position.  You have four pieces developed, but all of them are bad.  You have two bad bishops, your knights have limited mobility, and your queen is cut off from the action.  Your queen is absolutely useless out there on g6 because there is no support in the area.  Development is paramount.  11...Nf6! and you might be able to castle kingside away from the attack.

12...0-0-0?-You answered that for me.  You are a sitting duck now.

16...Na5?-Loses your knight

17.Nbd2? (17.b4! wins the knight)

17...Ba8?-Really bad move, I mean you stick your bishop in a corner where it has the least power, especially when the knight retreats, when it will have zero squares of movement.  Your bishop is worth less than a pawn at this point.  Better was 17...Bc8! when you threaten to exchange your horrible bishop for white's good bishop and allow a square for your knight to retreat to.

22...Nc8-Now look at this position.  You have all of your pieces cluttered among the first and second ranks.  Where is the hope in this position?  Where is your counterplay?  Your pawn structure now is an advantage for white as you have weakened all the key light squares.  A breakthrough is inevitable.

23.Rxa8+??-This move loses some of white's advantage.

White had a forced win in 4!

23.Rfa1!! and black loses in all lines.

The rest of the game can go without comment as you were still positionally lost.

I think some of ur coordinates are worng but i think i get what ur saying.  if white played 21. Rxa6 instead of Be6 he would have pretty much won.  Too bad i was playing as black lol.

7.e5! wins back the piece although the center sac is not a very good idea.  Black gets an easy game.
