As I'm reading books and studying the lines it would help if I had an app to visualize the position and best moves. Is there a way on chess.com or an app to manually place pieces in positions without replicating 30 lines if moves?

I would use a chessboard but it is hard to set up a chess board on the couch or in bed, lol

Many chess apps have the ability to set up arbitrary positions.
