Is there a way to prevent the computer from giving me those arrows suggesting the best moves. I would like to analyze positions without them.

Go to Settings -> Interface. From there, you can toggle "Show Best Move".

I go to settings but dont see any option for selecting “interface”

I apologize; I should have been more clear. When you are on the page where the analysis is showing the best move arrows, hit the cog wheel next to the board to go to those Settings.
