Everybody has a brilliant move somewhere deep within, you just have to find it 😊.

Brilliant moves that are moves that computer can't find it at first. It only knows after humans play it. If you don't believe me, you just set the position before the brilliant move is played and let the computer level 10 play it.
@kaukasar, I wish I played as many brilliant moves.
I bet you are, but you aren't aware of it. After you played a rapid game, run a game report and in settings, make sure it highlights brilliant moves, not just mistakes & blunders. After some time you will notice that you make a brilliant move once in a while.

I'll definitely try that. I used to analyze my games quite often - before the new expressive analysis tool - I should get back into the habit.

That's interesting. It would make a fun stream or video 🔦
This is my 2 brilliant move game vs GM Aman Hambleton. Even though I don't know why the moves are brilliant, or how I blundered mate in 1 at 4 am. Here is a share: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/4871178406?tab=report
Thanks for sharing those fun games @CaveMartian and @onurkaansekerel.
As for an award, maybe I'll gift some lucky member a year's membership to celebrate the 1000,000th post 😁.
There isn't an award for brilliant move. Why not?
If there was one, i wonder what kind of decision criteria a jury would use to determine a winner. Any suggestions?
That's a tough one. I think the human element would be a good thing to consider. A fun game to watch... just one of the criteria.
Playing against the Reti Opening; Quiet System. Found a brilliancy somehow, but thanks to the both of our shoddy playing of the endgame I managed to pull a win from a draw
I messed up my advantage after some play in the endgame, then found 58. Rb6+!!. I kinda understand why it's a brilliancy as it forces the black king up the board because if he went back to the 7th rank he would be caught in a mating net.
Was playing a 5 min unrated blitz against someone, and I was playing the fried liver as white, but along the line I messed it up, but fortunately my opponent messed up as well. However a few moves after I blundered my advantage, and proceeded to lose the game on time.

I have never played any brilliant moves, but my opponent played one on move 19.
