Should black exchange queens ?

Ideally I would say no. White has difficulty developing his pieces and exchanging queens will help white to untangle his position. This is a positional argument. However, there is a problem in that the knight on e5 is en prise. So if black wants to avoid exchanging queens then he has to consider that. For example, 1. ... Qe6 2. Qb5 is a problem for black since the queen is attacking b7 and the knight on e5. Black will need to play Qc4+ and the queens will be exchanged on c4 anyway. So there are tactical issues we need to consider. But I think there is a way to avoid the exchange and it is by playing Nc4 (see below).
Black's king looks a little vulnerable makes it look nice to trade.
White's structure is damaged which makes it look nice to trade.
King safety and pawn structure are the two I use.
I agree, trade queens then Nc6 and white doesn't have much going on and two isolated pawns.

i think the position just looks too dangerous and blacks king is very uncomfortable. whites stucture has some issues to i think black can manage to make things difficult after the exchange without danger of losing
