Here's a live game I played...any comments or thoughts? I feel like he made more mistakes than I made. Just wanted to try posting a live game. Thanks

I'm black...I won

A very nice win.

I felt that White has the upperhand after 16.....exd5. He made a very bad decision when he played 17. Nf5, exchanging an active piece for a bad bishop.

Just an observation.

Why did your bishop go to d7, I don't understand?

Not only did he waste time, he lost his super bishop at c4

I just played Bd7 to a) develop and b) if he took my knight with his knight I could have that bishop on a good diagonal towards his king.

That was my thinking anyway...why was it not a good move? You're talking about move 9 right?

It is because there is a good alternative other than 9....Bd7 such as 9...Nxd4 10. Bxd4 b5 11. Bb3 Bb7.
