this is a live chess game i just finished. My opponent decided to quit for some reason just as it was about to be a stalemate. is there any way this position wasnt gonna be a stalemate?

54. Rb6 convincingly won.  If black snaps off the pawn with 55... Rxf6 56. Rxf6 Kxf6 the c pawn is a cakewalk to promote.

If you want to know how to win such positions king + pawn vs king endgames are a good place to start.

edit: typo

Additional win:

69.Rd2 (or any move at d file except d1, of course) wins.

R moves anywhere= c8=Q preventing stalemate.

If 69...Kb7, Rb2+.

thanks for all the input. I didnt protect the c pawn because i fugured (incorrectly) that it would give his king a better position to make stale mate. and he didnt get the draw estragon because he resigned. right as I was gonna move.
