Wait, isn't it the Petroff-Russian Game? Also, if black knows what he is doing, it is plenty solid, even if he takes the pawn. For example,

It does lose a central pawn, however, black does have compensation.
Robert, that line you mentioned is a gambit line in the Petroff--black, if plays properly, sacs a pawn.
And the line has not actually been refuted.
