the time where computers are wrong

so I was playing around with the analysis and decided to set up this position. But, how? This is not a 3.40 advantage. (Or maybe im wrong)

IMKeto

Blacks "advantage" is all based on the advantage in space.

Look at the knight on g1. If it is worth 3 and it takes a pawn, then black has 2. This is just merely based on material count. Black has superior space control and this stonewall blockade across the board needs to get chomped down on. White can do nothing and hope for repetition. So, black needs to pick a knight and take one of the pawns. Stockfish shows 7+. After taking the d4 pawn for example, via Nc6, if white plays cxd4 black can go after the LSB and use the queen on a6. If white instead plays exd4, then the queen can make use of the b1-h7 diagonal.

After clearing the confusing clutter, white has nothing to combat the stranglehold black has. This is a case where there are too many pieces on the board to easily see the advantage.

I don't think it's the case to call people dumb and I think the explanation GM_loser gave is very useful, but even then I'm still recreating this in the analysis to check myself how it goes on.

Ah yes. I have the power to make people facepalm.

Yes, I gave it a look and not obvious at all, unless every player under 1400-1500 rating is considered dumb, I had to ask hints for more moves against the 3200 computer than the moves I got right and the ending is a bishop + knight + king vs king endgame, which I experienced before on other sites, but this pc plays better obviously and wasn't even able to corner him in 50 moves, even the hints don't find the right path it seems.

Your position is dead lost for white!

Engines are right!

Because there is minor pieces jump and sacrifice, via Ne5 and Nd3.

If  there is a real fortress with no minor pieces sacrifice, then Crystal can see as 0.00.

CastawayWill

White should be able to draw that if he doesnt capture anything

CastawayWill

but that isnt draw by dead position because theres always ways to lose by blundering

CastawayWill

This is a draw even though white is down 67 in material, but the computer actually sees this as 0.00.
