yeah white could have mated on 15 anda few times after that white could have taken the rook for the advantage.
well when the pawns were at the seventh rank they could have promoted to checkmate but that wasn't the point of the game

Well, I think that statement is trying to generalize what chess is. Maybe our game is a waste of time for you, but a lot of fun for others, like us.
I am black in this game, and as you can see we both had a chance to mate. Mostly white because he had the initiative and black is one move behind. However, the objective was not to check the others king, because then nothing is symmetric anymore.
Now, there were some parts when we had to stop and discuss how to continue in order to keep the symmetric game. We indeed had fun.
Next step would be to play a game where symmetry is broken for later to come back after a series of moves. At the end, order is just a particular case of chaos!. That may be harder but fun. Although a waste of time for some

The funny thing is, if you ever see your opponent mirroring your moves, it is SO much easier to walk him into a trap! lol...just think carefully...trust me, they'll be like, huh>?
