Themes: fighting vs knights, strategy vs. material, and willpower

The themes in this game include how to fight against a knight pair in a closed game, the domination of strategy over a material advantage, and what happens when one player bends to the will of the other instead of developing and committing to your own plans.

Throughout the game, white should be focusing on undermining my pawns and working relentlessly to create a secure posts for his knight pair. Instead, white makes no use of his material advantage and allows his pieces to be pushed around and remain uncoordinated.

Remember: give your opponent's plans no respect! Only make reactionary moves when 100% necessary - otherwise you'll find yourself working with his plans instead of disrupting them. I hope this game helps with illustrating this crucial chess idea.

I learnt nothing from this game except of wondering of a very bad game from both sides.

Wow, the pawns completely dominated the knights in that game.  Reminded me a bit of what I've read in Silman.  Nicely done, especially in light of an opening blunder that would have tempted some with resignation.
