To make chess study less boring

thanks for all these comments! perhaps boring was the wrong term that I used to describe how i feel about chess study these days. To clearly describe it, I would say that I was exhausted from doing the same things for chess, which was tactics and youtube videos. I needed some new areas to work on to make chess more fun again for me.

Someone actually did a 30 minutes long analysis video for some of my games and pointed out the tendencial  tactical mistakes I do and most importantly, my ignorance of space and the use of bishops (i underutilize them). These are the fundamentals that I will further strengthen and give more thoughts into when I am playing. Credits go to you SmithyQ.

Kingaspongey, thansk for all these books recommendations, they are some that sound really interesting. I will start looking into.

DeirdreSky, thanks for the feedbacks! I am starting to play Benoni. I thought its really interesting, unusual and reminds me of sicialian that I usually play. I will definitely look more into benoni games. Speaking of which, does anyone know any good players that play Benoni? Would like to study their games.

I annotated also a game which I played today as a reflection from some of the stuff I learnt from SmithyQ.

I will be mroe than glad to receive any feedbacks on my annotation/thought process! many thanks guys!

Thanks DeirdreSkye, those good words are real encouraging.

I am gonna start to play longer games with higher rated players. Going to move to a new city at the end of the month too and am looking already for a chess club!
