Bring the old description back, please!

The change is pointless and very bad design.

hello there! @cschumacher
it seems like a lot of folks like me miss the old bots and their customization options. I miss the menu below where you could either pick the customization options (and the star level was automatically set for you depending on your custom choices) or you could pick the type of challenge and its star level and the default options set by the three levels: challenge, friendly or assisted.
The new star badge system to be honest was not well thought because it literally killed a whole and wide set of bot options that we could play with. Hints and take backs is just one aspect of a friendly challenge and one aspect of feedback that is critical for training and learning. Move feedback, evaluation bar, engine lines, hints and take backs, threat arrows, suggestion arrows are a much more complete set of features.
Honesty I don't know why you killed all these features although the omnipresent staff moderator Martin Stalh has posted everywhere that these features are coming back. I hope so! Reverting the latest bot changes is the wisest thing to do unless you have a better star badge system (so far you don't) or even more customization options to use (you don't have that either).
For example, hints could be more flexible and informative: not just indicating a move, but suggesting ideas drawn from the best line. The evaluation bar could also be customized to update instantly after each move or only when triggered by a mouse click, so it remains visible without always being active; whatever best suits the user’s preference.
The bot features are a major reason I suscribe to chess.com. If you visit my profile you'll see that I've played many bots games and almost exclusively bots because that is the way I train.
Hope you guys, take this feedback into account. THANKS!

Hello folks! Our team is testing new designs of the bot pages within the app. Some users might see a different page (in which the description is not available), while others won't.

  •  For the ones who enjoy the description: thanks for the feedback! Our team is monitoring it.

Thanks, the removal of the descriptions was a pointless change that only made the bots worse, not better.

No, they aren’t.

I don't understand why Chess.com hasn't brought back descriptions, it seems like the vast majority preferred them. I never play the non seasonal bots anymore, because I have no idea how they are supposed to play. Also - Before you ask, the first line of dialogue they say ISN'T a good substitute.

Because they don’t care about us, only our wallets.

Wow, I hope a Chess.com employee is seeing this, and seeing how dissatisfied we all are about the situation.
