I don't the mate threat in itself was a blundar. Maybe it wastes a couple of moves and allows him an easy path to doubling his rooks on the C file. You put it back in position to get pawn-forked with the king. White declined to move c6+ from move 30 to move 35, so perhaps I'm missing something.
Trapped Queen and Bishop Blunder

9. Qxe5 "wasn't sure what he wanted to do, probably trying to form a battery with b-bishop and queen "
He was probably planning 10. Bxh6 and you wouldn't be able to recapture due to the pinned pawn. Also he was threatening mate.
13... gxh6? Why didn't you take the rook?
14. Rc1? Why didn't he take your knight with the king immediately? Why didn't you save it afterwards?
20. Kb1 AC- artificial castle! :D
37... Rxc4? I think Bxc1 would have been better, winning you a whole rook: 37...Bxc1
38. Rxc8 Rxc8 ,or 38. Rxc1 Rxc1- if he does make the latter move, you win a rook and 2 pawns!

37...Bxc1 loses the queen to 38. Rxe4
Hi everyone,
I was hoping someone can help me out with this move I made...was this a blunder?
25. Nc3 Ba3
...as I was playing, I felt that it was a blunder but it ended up towards a game win (I felt after white's 17.Qh5 was his/her downfall perhaps?)
