Trying out the Chigorin

Hey guys, I just finished an interesting game against Shredder where it was on a fairly high ELO compared to my level, i've been trying out / learning the Chigorin as my play against the Queens Gambit, and when I play D4 myself is very sloppy, hence i've been practicing QG/QGD games. This one in particular, I wasn't sure about but it was interesting. I hope you pardon me for not including annotations, as I was partially distracted while playing. I also feel as opposed to my previous game, as the Chigorin is regarded as rather tough (except for Moroezvich) that this game probably has areas which can be shown I need to improve in.

*edit* Perhaps I was a bit unclear, what I mean to say is for those more familiar feedback/questions about my moves are appreciated, and i'll respond with what (I was probably) thinking when I made them. And ignore the random Shredder annotations, those are just there since I copied the game using the built in PGN Copy.

Chivas is right. 4...Nf6 is the mainline.

After that, 5...e5 looked like it may have been too aggresive there. 5....e6 may have been better.

6....Bxf3 looked premature.

One thing I've learned about the Chigorin. For whatever white throws at him, black has a good line of play to answer back with. But only one.

This is not the kind of opening you want to play if you like to experiment. You really need to learn the lines, and stick to them. Or black can get in a lot of trouble fast.
