two best openings

There's no such thing as a defence opening. Openings are played by White. Defences are played by Black.
Nobody gives 1.d4 any love.
As black I would agree that Sicilian is a very good opening but if you play white and open with 1. e4 then you allow black to play Sicilian wich is very strong for black. My favorite for white would be the london system although that's probably cause I'm studying that right now, anyway it usually lead to some interesting games. The english opening for white is also interesting and usually lead to some nice positions for white.

I MAINLY HAVE PLAYED THE SCOTCH GAME AS WHITE OR THE CLOSED SICILIAN AS WHITE IF MY OPPONENT PLAYS C5
I HAVE ALSO LIKED THE LOLLI OR 2 KNIGHTS AS WHITE OR THE FRIED LIVER ATTACK, BUT I HAVE TO STUDY THESE OTHER OPENINGS MORE.
LIKE I SAID, I'M TRYING TO BETTER MY GAME, BUT I HAVE BEEN FINDING EXCELLENT AND SHARING PLAYERS IN SEVERAL FORUMS AND IN THE GAMES THAT HAVE GIVEN ME SOME GOOD ADVICE, I'M SURE YOU MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH MY SELECTION, BUT IT WHAT I USE FOR NOW.

First, the Ruy Lopez is a possible for white and the Sicilian is a possible black defense opening.Playing e4 doesn't force e5 which is on the path. If you are allowed to play these openings, you have chosen arguble the two best.
