veteranmate, C44: Göring Gambit

i used to play the goring gambit (switched to king's gambit instead). i've always liked it. probably not the best opening for higher levels, but at the lower ones i think it's fine. giving up a pawn for a development advantage is worth it imo at lower levels.
if black doesn't take with 4...dxc3, i'm probably not playing 5. cxd4 as that seems to waste a tempo and loses your development advantage. instead i'm leaning towards 5. Bc4 to keep white's advantage.
