Not true. If you analyze your game with a computer, even if you won the computer will show you good ideas, tactics, etc. You can still learn just as much.

Yes, A victory is always caused by mistake(s) from opponents. Of course, you learn very little from opponent mistakes , anyone can make any random mistakes.
