@Bill_C - If black played Be7 on move 13, you could just play Nxd6 in response and move your rook to the e file after he recaptures, right? Or am I missing something?
We need more amateurs to post their annotated games.

Noah2358, I think you are correct, but the idea of Be7 is good (for white):
12. .. Ne8?? 13. Nxc8 Rxc8 14. Be7

Nice. The early f4 advance was a transposing move to try to get Black away from the mainline Najdorf since this shows up near moves 20-25 I think if my theory on the line is correct. The text though does not give White any room to breathe if things go wrong given that Qd2 was not prepared and the f4 push avoids the assist of the battery on the g5 and h6 squares. White would need some very sharp playing to pull off more than a hard fought draw because for just the initial glance I saw, should an ending be reached, he would have a mobilized King side but passive piece maagement later. Both sides are usually trying to keep the Bishops pair here so Bc1 while passive, maintains just enough tension to where a tactical finish is almost assured.
The fact that Black did not castle here was immaterial given that the central pawns were fuixed as such that there was a natural shelter on e7 for Black and once the Bishop went to c1, the King is safe in the middle. This is a theme in many lines of the Sicilian and highlights a rule that is very flexible but as in all things chess, not absolute: Castling in the Sicilian while almost always required for White is optional for Black.

Nice game however a few points. why h6? b5 is probably better since g5 can be met by b4, and after Ne2/Na4 you can play Nh5. After white castled I would go b4 since after Nd5 you can play Bxd5 and after Ne2 Rb8 and a5 are strong. The main point of b4 is to prepare d5 to make his pawn storm useless. After a few moves you got a comfortable position since Nd5 was innacurate. He seriously needed to get his attack going with manuevers like Rd3-f3 instead of wasting time with Qf5. You did a good job punishing him for that as well as for playing Nd4

Rapid game 15/10. Thought I played fairly well, but have a few questions re piece placement (didn't move the dsb for a while and the knight to b3 I thought was perhaps a mistake - in comments) and resolution of the centre.
Have tried queenside castling against the Pirc before but she killed me.
@the_last_rights - At you're rating, improving positionally will be a waste of time. It's hardly, if at all, worth it for someone at mine. Just play some correspondence chess with tactical openings (Scotch, King's Gambit, etc.) and do some tactics trainer to improve. Oh and my real Online rating is around 1500-1700; I had a week-long power outtage that made me lose a bunch of games on time.

Few quick things I noticed in your game TLR.
I don't go over openings normally. To me, you play an opening to get into a midgame that you are personally comfortable with, and each player is comfortable with different things (I don't mind double H or A pawns for instance), but there are things I'm wondering about.
My notes will be in the game. If you are anything like me, move 20 will bother you.
Here is an interesging game I just played. I won easily using simple tactics of pinning & forking.

Got it. 23. Nxd5 is definitely superior. Thanks!
