a game I played (3 days to think) online chess against very strong opposition, I managed to finish it beautifully !

But you're only in the 1400's. I play kids under 10 and they have ratings around 2000. You may be new to the game I suppose, if so, my apologies.

@theweaponking : nice game ! I haven't check your game just yet but I think that white is just too passive, allowing black to build up the center like that :D
@george : I know that, I know a kid under 10 which the rating is almost at FM level (2150+)

lol, that game is NOT amateur game, its series of games are remembered as one of the "greatest chess rivalries of all time" lol

I do not play competitive chess, am no member of a chess team, have no ELO rating, no FIDE ranking and do not play OTB tournaments.
Yes my best friend is a FIDE master and I play regulary blitz with him but that is as close as I get to a real OTB competition.
So yes I'm an amateur.
Even so I always welcome comments of other players no matter their rating. And I think any game annotated by their player(s) can be helpful to all players.
ok, but you'd beat me in a heartbeat.
:) never underestimate yourself. I teach kids and I am always careful with them because they can surprise you (and themselves) with really good moves.

I made a few notes
1.d5-d6 was bad , blocking my light-square bishop diagonal.
your right it was bad but see notes WHY it was,
2.Last moves building a mating net on the kingside - was trying to decide when to exchange the pieces and what pieces to exchange.
irrelevent really you sorta fell into the idea you didnt understand pawn breaks.
3.The repetitive queen moves are actually a mouse slip so I brought her back.
Thanks for the comment Tony.. but I really don't know what Pawn Breaks are :)
