i prefer offensive, but im thinking of playing more defensive now, so black is getting pretty good for me.

keep on with the offensive. Both sides can attack and defend .keep up with the offensive because when your attacking, you got the initiave and most of the times more control over the position.When you're defending, most of the times your more passive and just tryiung to survive

IMO white is better, because of offensive advantage.
