Here is a game I did today...  Well here it is =)...

I know it isn't perfection but can you help point out any major errors/missed opportunities...  *And I am Black* to avoid any confusion

EternalChess

i love the mate!

Interesting game, your opponent played poorly in the beginning

James_Kudo

Just quickly going over the first few moves, you didnt make good use of your opening time. I have no idea what you were thinking by playing h3 in the opening. You NEED to make use of your opening time to make moves for the center, develop pieces, and/or protect your King. It's ridiculous, especially for white on the second move, to purposely waste a move to see what the other player will do. You completely threw away your first-move advantage as white.

Always make moves with a plan in mind!

Ok, obviously James_Kudo has made a mistake, but that's only because of your poor board orientation, rmgroup. Generally, we face the board from the player's side, so that we know who we are analysing instantaneously! James made the assumption you were white... which isn't unreasonable. Just a heads-up.

hmmm...  my error but thats what the mighty flip button is for, however over that can you give me any heads up for "black"

yet the pawn blocks the only square the pure doesnt hit thats why I thought it was "smothered and pure"?

I just analyzed the whole game and it disappeared.  Wow.

If you wanted to be greedy you could have played 18...c5 followed by 19...Bxc2

jenswalker

you could have forked before castling-->or you could have brought your knight out earlier..if he sacrificed his bishup for the forking pawn--> points would be even.. your opponent played a little sloppy when it came to the exchanges, thx for the post. rmgroup
