What is the earliest move (besides Be7) which black could have reconsidered in this game?

Be7 is a move I make a lot even though I know the engine shows other options. So, my question is before or after 4...Be7, what could black reconsider that would improve their play?

If you think it is worth it, a follow up question involves the advantage white has. It's pretty self-explanatory at the end, but perhaps there are other things to consider as well from the middle to end of the game (like how to deal with stopping white's knights entering the center nullifying black's benign attacking moves).

I'll admit, I was surprised by the analysis. I thought black would have a slight advantage due to the pressure applied before white's queen entered the center. Maybe that's it. Black traded off the pawns in the center when the Bf5 move could have been played (I have done that countless times for the past 20+ years). So, here is the game after Be7.

Ok, I forgot about that too. So besides Be7 or Nxe4, is there a third move? Not just this position, please look at the WHOLE sequence of moves. I just focused it here as a starting point.

For example, move 8 for black.

If you want a specific range of moves I am asking about (just guideline) then moves 5 to 13 for black. 15 could have been Bf5.

And if possible please give multiple moves not just one. Anyone can use the engine.
