What to do against hyper-aggressive queen?

I found this incredibly annoying to play against. My opponent's queen was by my king for half of the game, and I couldn't get rid of it. I thought I had trapped his rook at the end, but he came up with a really good mate threat. Then I made a blunder and he won. The player did their first 10 moves in about 30 seconds, so I'm guessing this is something they do all the time.
