You'd be able to en passant if your pawn was on f5. On f6 it doesn't grant en passant.

The pawn has to move through the space where the other pawn can capture, not away from it.

Hey can anyone explain to me why can't I En passant fxg7 after opponent played this move?
after 29. exf6 g5 ... the pawn moved two squares but on my 30th move I wanted to en passant fxg7 but it was not available while I was playing. Similar thing happened with one of my past game also a while ago.
