It let me after I went back and tried again a couple hours later.  ???  Never had this site mess up before?

That is a strange one.

If it was a glitch, maybe it just wasn't letting you make any move at that moment.  No way to know for sure, of course, because you wouldn't have tried to make some other move instead of the one you wanted.

Maybe you ran out of time or he resigned.

It's an online game, and he was able to make the move later.

However, I just saw that the game is still going, so aside from the problem with making the move, the rest of the game can't be discussed.

Espifer, what kind of Internet connection do you have?  Is it possible your connection fell offline without you realizing it, and that's why a move couldn't go through?
