Why does the mobile app have best move calculation arrows in it's analysis but the web app doesnt?

Those green lines that show you the next best move to make. It doesn't exist on the website, but it works on the mobile app. The website only shows you the green line after you've made the move.

You can turn them on-off via settings on the web app

The "show best move" setting is already enabled but that doesn't address my issue. Only AFTER i make a move (on the analysis board) will the best move be shown. On the mobile app however, the best move is shown DURING my turn to move.

Well, in the web app you can see the lines (Select Show Lines). I have it set to show 3 lines. In the iOS app I dont think you can see the lines, maybe thats why they show the best moves on the app as arrows. But the web app gives you a lot more information

thanks, but as you can see on yorur screen the green line for the knight only shows AFTER you've played the move c6. On the mobile app, that green line for the knight will show DURING your move.

Umm, but it shows 3 entire LINES of PLAY to the right over there. So it is showing you the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best moves to make on move 5, but it includes all the follow-up for those moves.

I just recently learnt what those lines mean and how to use them in analysis, earlier today. I'd prefer the green arrow during my move, but this is also useful.
Thank you for your help.

They should implement the arrows like the website that shall not be named does.  Seems like a simple enough thing to do.

honestly bizarre that this is the case and is clearly an easy fix. but at least it's reminded me to donate to lichess which doesn't obscure it's analysis tools
