True, the OP does seem to think White has to move into check and then the King will be "captured".
As a side note, I recall back in the 90s, during blitz games (on real boards at least), some would play where you're allowed to move into, or stay in, check, but if the other player noticed they could capture your king and you lost. Not sure if that variant is still around?
I see the lack of people who are saying that this is a joke.
