Will someone please explain why this game ended in a draw.

My opponent had a legal move.
Game drawn by timeout vs. insufficient material. What does this mean? I think I should have been able to win on time.

Again....white ran out of time. All black has a king and you cannot win with just a king.
Never mind. Just read some other posts. I understand, but never heard of that rule before.

Glad to help. A day where we dont learn something is a wasted day.
I will never understand how anyone can spend 24 hours in a day, have the internet and not learn anything new.
