Wonky Computer Analysis

I was going through a chess.com computer analysis and it came to this position where it says black has a slight advantage yet white has what, to me, looks like an unstoppable mating threat. Am I missing something? Is this common from chess.com analysis?

I once put in a solid 30+ mins thinking on a move (a lot for me) and chess.com computer gave me a ? for it. so I checked on my comp with houdini, and houdini chose my move. it made me absurdly pleased.

but that position is just mate in 3 or 4 or whatever. it looks like the reason is it's the end of the computer's sub-variation. it should look deeper since it's fairly forcing, but it might not be configured that way.

Alright. The technical reason for this is because every computer looks to a certain ply. If a computer can see 2 moves ahead, it's often a ~1500 computer maybe. If a computer can see 3, maybe it's ~2500. This computer cannot see the forced mate here, since there are ways to prolong it longer than it's ply, therefore making it blind to the mating threat. This is an excellent example of why people can beat computer impossible- It can't see 4-move or so threats.
