6..Ne4 is pretty common. According to Chessbase, it is the 5th most common move in that position. White retains a very slight edge in the 293 games in the online database.

In 1993, Portisch was closing in on 60. This was not really a well played game. The White pieces hardly cooperated and he was run off the board.

He was 56. Portisch played well at the 1993 Biel Interzonal, scoring 7.5/13 and outperforming his ranking significantly, but did not advance.
