Very cool! I like the Smith Morra too, but I don’t have the best results with it. My games are either crushing wins, or spectacular losses. Nothing in between. Haha. 😄 Thanks for sharing this great game! Putting the queen to b3 is always hard for me to see. I will try to remember that.
a 95% accurate Smith Morra Gambit (my best game ever?)

believe me! once you start playing that "king's gambit" move, you will have a nice route to f7! your results are to be expected as it is somewhat double edged, and black has been booking up like CRAZY against it these days! when I first started playing it, i swear my results were close to 90% wins! only 1 lower rated player ever beat me and i was claiming MOST higher rated player's hides. now, yeah, black's figured it out and has plan of his own.
if you want some transpositionally mind numbing theory for "the strongest performing lines", I can create a pgn of my theory, something like 240 lines and not complete... transpositions started making my head hurt because where I study only shows one end of a transposition making it so easy to get lost. I'll NEVER understand "variations within variations within variations" theory. it's just a wall of noise! trees are the ONLY correct way to do theory! PERIOD!
smith morra gambit is much more of a challenge these days than it used to be. a lot of my sicilian games are frustrating, but not this one! the BIGGEST takeaway from ALL i know of the opening is "play Qb3 as soon as black plays ...e5" and it has served me well since adopting that plan
