Winning the c-pawn

Here is a game I played on iGoogle, using the chess.com gadget.  I don't think the ratings are very reliable, as the player pool seems to be very small.  Black made a couple of blunders later in the game, but the battle for the c-pawn was epic (in my mind at least) and I was very happy to finally win it, after having a very cramped position after the opening.

And I'm certainly not a 1700 player.  Like I said, the ratings are a bit inflated.  Also, I could have taken the pawn at move 14, but prefered to harass the knight.  Anyone have any comments on the choice of moves around that point?  Should I have taken the pawn then (14. Bxc4) or was it better to attack the knight again and play for an open a file and space in the center?

black's rating looks really high for the potential play he show us in game no?

Maybe 21. ... Bf6 isn't too bad, but the serious mistake is 20. ... Ng4. Your analysis after 21. Bf4 is 21. ... Ne5, but it fails to 22. Rfe1 Bc7 23. b6 Bd6 24. Nb5.

Another mastake made by your opponent is 24. ... Bxc2?? 25. Rc1 and i would resign in this position if I played as Black.

What's wrong with 26. ... Rxc4? I didn't find your reason. It's same with 26. ... Rxf4 27. Rxc3 g6. I think the wrong move is 27. ... Bxd2??

Nice game.

I like your analysis of the 21....Ne5 line, but isn't 24. bxc7 more direct?  (e.g. 24...Rc8 25. Bxe5

Upon further analysis, you are also right about 26...Rxc4.  It's his best option, as it nets the 2 bishops for his rook, rather than just a straight up trade of bishops.  As for 27....Bxd2 what else does he have?  He can't defend the bishop, so he will lose it next turn (29. Bxc3).
