Well at least you drew, not losing is already half the job. This game shows potential to get better too.

Yeah at least i got it, i still received 3 or 4 points if i'm not mistaken. I actually don't care much about the points but i'm happy with my progress lately. Things are changing.
Why not play the other rook to e5 on move 25 and then 26 Rh6+?
I missed that one, as i already wrote it in the first message. And according to stockfish, that move also would lead mate in 6. unfortunately i simply didnt see it. I was a bit excited because of opponent's rating i guess ![]()

Recall that in most situations, it's easier for us to spot moves in other people's games than for the player to spot them himself.

For some reason, if I were to be playing as Black after move 50, I would freak out and lose the game.
I matched a very high rated opponent, did my best and reduced the game to Q vs 2R.. i had passed pawns all i needed to do was to trade my queen for 2 rooks.. still was advancing my central passer one by one slowly..
pfff. i couldnt come up with a plan and drew it to threefold repeption.. got scared to scr.w it up
But i knew i would have made it. It was theoritacally possible. And on top of everything after game analysis said i missed M8 in the middle game. oooffffff
Instead of 26. R6e5+ i should have played the other rook, then g5 and Rh6+ king will have to capture amd disconnect from queen and then Qxg4 winning a queen for a rook!!!!
I was too close to win this god damit
