I feel so stupid, lol. Even my opponent was thrown by my choice of rook to g1. I was so excited that my rook was free that I didn't bother to look at the rest of the board. Move 22.

ouch, sorry about that!

Yeah, that hurt, lol. Just wanted to share incase someone could learn something.

Maybe I shouldn't have played on, lol. Maybe I was just delusional.

Lol, yeah something similar happened to me yesterday. I thought I was doing well and suddenly... checkmate! I was completely surprised by this; I didn't even see it coming. It was so simple of a checkmate.

There is only so much you can do with mates like you found yourself in. That queen moves swiftly which catches you off guard and doesn't give you much hope of responding.

We should play again sometime and analize our games together.

Why play b3 if you're not going to then move the bishop to b2?  You're opening a direct line to your rook.

Oh my bad, same thing in the first game posted though.

How about this. My opponent had the better position but one slip and it's mate!

That was my opponent as well (I was also playing black, then). It seems everybody who plays against me likes that move.

I personally like to play b3 and then point my bishop at the center
