Brilliancy

This is a fantastic game I played, or at least I think so.

Of course, when I say "I played..." I mean that I was part of it grin.png. I was white. I went for opposite side castling when I was down a couple of tempi instead of the more solid kingside castle and my opponent punished me for it in 22 moves. This is a very excellent game and I think needs to be shown off. My defensive moves weren't terrible, and they did attempt to be as active as possible rather than simply prevent black's threats, which is what makes the game that much better. Because I played actively my opponent had plenty of chances to go wrong but never did. I know that the Sicilian is sort of a brilliant opening and we all have brilliancies in opposite side castling Sicilian, but it's still a lot harder than it looks to have such an accurate game and my opponent did a really good job. Of course he made occasional inaccuracies but he never gave away the advantage. This is probably the best game I've ever been a part of.
