Ouch! (sure he didn't play 11... Bxf3+ btw?...looks to be a mate in 2).

Hard to believe Keres missed that mate-in-one in a correspondence game! After 12 Qxg3 Nf3xg1+ 13. Ke2 fxg3 I think Black is still winning though.
Nice miniature, anyway.
Ok, today is my day for humiliating great players :) [edit] sorry, didn't mean topost as a puzzle, and for some reason I can't seem to fix it
OK, it was 1943, who knows what condition he was in, it was blitz, but there surely isn't a worse Alekhine game....
@rooperi: you've posted 2 of the games as puzzles (Lasker and Petrosian), we can't play through them! The others are great though, it's so nice to see the mighty blunder like us mere mortals.

Great posts; you had me laughing out loud with my coffee! A fine way to start the day--seeing Hall-of-Fame players going down in flames in less than 20 moves. I love it. With the amount of positive replies you have gotten here, maybe you could do an occasional forum post of great players getting spanked. Sound like a possibilty?

OK, post some names, I'll see if I can find games :)
You can't even google this guy, but here's his greatest moment :)
A correspondence game, no less...
