Beth (10) plays quite easy for 1600 rating though

To be honest any bot isn't exactly as strong as its indicated rating. Its real strength can fluctuate towards both the ends. Sometimes strong , sometimes weak. I didn't feel this bot really played like a 1600.

I agree that the strength of a bot fluctuate quite a lot. I played against beth(10) with e4 and got crushed by the cicilian, the bot played very well. Next game i played d4 and entered london system and the bot played completely madly, blundering pawns and pieces everywhere. Here is the game.

Also, I recently managed to beat Beth (15) as black, I'll analyze it soon.

It seemed that way to me, too, even just compared to other 1600 bots.  She seems not to mind closed games, which bots are generally bad at.

Also, if as Beth (15) says, the Sicilian is the only good way to respond to e4, why does she sometimes play the French?

Does the chess.com engine depend on your device? I ask because i managed to beat the 2700 Beth bot on my old smart phone... Or do I have the powers of a god!?!

I beat her as white and she asked for a rematch.  I agreed, and she gave me white again?  But she had turned 17????  I guess she got in two years of study while I wasn't looking!
