Sometimes ratings don't do a good job of predicting the winner simply because of the way their styles clash or once stung, twice shy way of playing subsequent games.
This was only my 2nd win against at least five losses, but everything came together. An isolated passed pawn turned into a monster in the middle game and promoted with the help of a pair of exchange sacrifices.
